Josiah Clancy, born October 11, 2000 in Houston, Texas, is a music producer, pianist, singer/songwriter, voice actor/impressionist, graphic designer, logo designer, digital artist, game designer, photo editor, video editor, gamer, streamer, influencer, script writer and more.


He began his music career when he was just a toddler by playing any piano he came across. Josiah began music production in 2015 from learning about music technology in the 7th grade. Since then, he continued to pursue music production, singing, and songwriting through self-teaching. His majorly released music is available to purchase for download on Bandcamp and is available to listen to on music streaming services such as Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, iHeartRadio, Pandora and more digital stores.


Josiah picked up graphic design during his high school years by using a computer drawing tablet provided for the class he took. After high school, he continued to pursue graphic designing, logo designing, photo editing, and other digital art mediums as well through self-teaching. For game designing, Josiah creates virtual worlds and 3D architecture by using game engines such as Unity3D. Most of his work is done for social virtual reality games such as VRChat and ChilloutVR. One notable work is his replication of “The Backrooms”, the first ever iteration uploaded for VRChat.


Josiah's vocal work varies as his natural voice is in the bass-tenor range, but is also capable of higher ranges through voice modulation. He can pull off a plethora of voices, doing impressions of popular actors, internet personalities, anime and cartoon characters, ranging from the deep voices alike Patrick Warburton to the higher falsettos of Michael Jackson. His notable voice work can be heard as he sings in his original musical works and speaks in many of his friends' videos.


Many know Josiah Clancy simply as JC, an easy to remember nickname using his initials. Within a couple weeks after his 24th birthday, Josiah started his VTuber career under his alias, JC. The lore for JC is as follows; JC is a rejected Vocaloid turned genderfluid VTuber who lives in Windows XP, rejected for having a voice that contrasts their appearance. Notable features in JC's appearance include their cyan and fuchsia hair accents, having a similar hair style to Hatsune Miku and an ahoge that resembles a musical bass clef. The bass clef ahoge denotes JC's aforementioned bass-tenor vocal range.


Josiah streams gaming content on Twitch and YouTube under his VTuber alias JC, following the footsteps of his content creator friends such as Qyuwi, HolyLemonGod, Filian and more of which he also helps with content. Josiah's goals as a Twitch streamer is to entertain and engage conversations with viewers in hopes to build a community that will further support Josiah's journey to making it in the big leagues of musicians, gamers and streamers.


Josiah previously worked as a script writer for channels such as SkyDiverge, HUMILIATED, and other various channels. His writing skills are college-level quality and up-to-date on the currently trending lingo and slang, producing clear and concise commentary for narrators to read to for any audience type to easily understand.
